Well on my first post I said I created this blog to share, to entertain and to educate.
Let's do the education today.
I would like to introduce to you 2 sites:
http://bankinginfo.com.my
There are really a lot of useful information about banking and insurance stuff, and most improtantly, the information given comes with an objective to educate, rather than with the intention to gain (potential) benefits/profits from the visitors/readers.
You might be thinking...where to start?
I'll just name some interesting stuff:
1. comparative tables (between all banks) of housing loans, fixed deposit accounts blablabla
2. What are the requirements to become a guarantor? / What are the possible consequences of becoming a guarantor?
3. financial calculator to calculate stuff like your monthly installments, interest rate blabla
or
budget calculator to help you in financial planning
4. what you must know when dealing with intermediaries (insurance agents/broker/financial adviser) to ensure your rights are protected
5. What to do if involved in a traffic accident, and how do you make a claim against an insurance company
Ok...sounds cool? One thing I need to let you know is some information is outdated, for example, the fixed deposit rates tables.
If you are lazy to read them now, download their pdf booklets and read later.
Download bankinginfo booklets
Download insuranceinfo booklets
(scroll down and find a link to download booklets)
Alrite, that's all for introduction, to know more, visit the site hehe . I hope all of you would learn to manage your pocket/hard-earned money well.
God bless!
