Thanks everyone.
22 years, it has not been easy. As I recall the past, shadows of bad experiences and partnership, discouragements, shames and hurts, are often what I think of. But God is faithful, and God is good!
If it wasn't because of God, today I could be someone detestable to everyone around me, probably a criminal in jail, yea I'm serious, I was a total jerk. (I think I still somehow possess some characteristics of that, ugh)
And if it wasn't because of God, I couldn't have hold on to God, to His blessings until today.
These are really long stories, and I don't think language is sufficient to express my gratitude to Him.
Also, I apologize to all of you. I am sure I give a lot of cold responses and cold shoulders. Forgive me I hope you will my friends. They are unintentional, and you know I love you ladies and gentlemen so much with the love of God.
And nevertheless,
Thanks, mum and dad.
Thanks, sisters. You are lovely noobs.
Thanks Angie, for your messages and your call.
Thanks Melia, Shi Hui, Pooi San, Jessalyn, Evelyn, Wei Seong, Chieo Ti, Eu Wei, Sook Cheng, Sook Yeen, Col Ping, Sean, Fui Peng, Callie, Kien You, Daniel and William for your text messages.
Thanks Carmen and Kar Yee, for calling me! Was a suprise!
Thanks Rong En, for remembering and your call.
Thanks to Choon Haw, Su Yen, and Huai Hoong for dropping me a Facebook message hehe.
Thanks, Dom, Ye Hean, Jim, Hean Hui, KT, Lim and TC (Shi Pei & Steven as well) for the celebration. Love you boys and girls.
Thanks, Daniel, James, David, Payshen, Hui Yie, Esther, Mee Ling, Sue Yee, Irene, Wen Yee, Bok Wan, Alan, Yseng, Hui Shan, Liyin, Fay, Ying Yee, Siaw Wei and Sing Chin for your time in 7 wonders. Special thanks to James for organizing. Love you guys.

And my dear little princess...uuhm...thank you. Love.
I thank God, again, yet not enough. God is real, and He is so good.

Hai people
In May, I'll be sharing testimony (about the love and faithfulness of God in my life
) in a few musical evangelism events in Johor Bahru.
So either after or before my testimony, there'll be a solo from me (
yes a solo, which means even a small mistake will be obvious!...And the worst thing is, I ain't a good singer
).
Well, of course the song, indirectly or directly, has to be related to my testimony.
A few examples:
隐形的翅膀 ("Invisible Wing") - I sang that last year to encourage and to affirm people that God is our invisible wing to help us to overcome difficulties in life.
我要快乐 ("I Want Happiness") - Was thinking about this song for this year. The lyrics talk about the unhappiness in our lives that we hide with fake laughters and smiles. I wish to tell the people : No one understands us like God does, and He sees the tears in our hearts, and He is always there to hear our prayers and cries, and to help, if we are willing to come to Him, and we are able to do that without putting up our masks, or hiding anything.
Maybe you can give me more suggestions?
Christian or non-Christian songs, Malay or English or Chinese songs, Pop or Oldies...
Since I don't really listen to music a lot, I guess you might be able to come up with something better :)
Put your suggestion(s) in comments or chatbox.
Thanks!
Jesus really does love and care for you! ![]()

I'm a Christian, I believe in God.
Many has asked me, "Does your God speak to you?"
Many years back when I was still in secondary school, when I was around 15 years old I guess, there was a time that I always asked God to let me understand His love.
I told God i know that He died on the cross for my sin, to save my life, to give me an abundant life. I believe that with no doubt, but I told God honestly I couldn't understand that from deep within my heart, and I couldn't feel that love in a "real" way.
So at that time almost everyday, I prayed and asked God to show me His love
, let me understand it not only by knowledge, but in my heart as well.
Then, there was one morning, I went to school like usual. Two things you would hate about my school are
: 1. every student (boys or girls) has to wear tie ; 2. we have morning assembly everyday. So that morning as usual we were lining up class by class. While waiting for the assembly to start, I was just lazing around and I saw this young man without a tie, which means, most probably he would be caught and be brought up to the stage later, and then caned (kena rotan) in front of every student in the morning session. ![]()
I actually know that guy a little bit. He was my neighbour, his father actually left him and his mum, and worse, he actually has some mental problems. Well, I'm sorry I really don't know if I can call that mental problems, he somehow speaks fluent English, He did quite well in academic, but he definitely had abnormal gestures, the way he responded to questions were sometimes weird, and he had quite some records of exposing private part to classmates.
At that moment, looking at him, my heart was really filled with sympathy.
I was reminded of everything that had happened to his family, and often saw him teased and bullied by others, and now he might be getting a painful punishment for forgetting his tie.
There was then a strong urge in my heart telling me :
"Give your tie to him."
"No," I told God in my heart.
"Why should I?"
"He deserves to be caned because he forgot. I don't have to give my tie to him. I might be caned if there is a spot check like usual"
(I mentioned "strong urge", because I knew God was the one who urged me.)
"Give your tie to him so he doesn't get caned." My heart was again urged.
"No, I can't do that" I told myself again, and I told God.
I was a respectable and famous student in the school. I couldn't imagine how people will look at me if I were to stand on the stage and be punished.
I struggled for a while there, being urged over and over again, and i kept rejecting that feeling.
That was such an uncomfortable feeling.
God then spoke to me.
"The love of God is - Jesus gave the tie to him"
I couldn't describe with words, really, how struck I felt to hear that.
I knew what God wanted to tell me.
When Jesus was on Earth, He saw me (and you) in sin, in bondages and in unhappiness, just like what that guy is in my eyes. He had done nothing wrong, but He gave His righteousness to me, and all humans, eventhough I (we) didn't know Him and probably had rebeled against Him. And in the end He had to suffer, died on the cross for the mistakes and sins of humans.
He didn't have to do that, moreover He was a respectable God-sent teacher in all Judea, throughout the land of Israel. I thought I was totally justified, I didn't deserve any punishment like that, and I didn't want my "good" reputation in the school to be tarnished, Jesus could have thought like that, but He didn't. No one deserves His sacrifice at all, but He was willing to carry the sins and be punished, be sentenced to death in front of so many people, eventhough He was far more justified than I was, far more reputable than I was.
It was so shameful as you can imagine, but He chose to do that so you and I can be freed.
"This is the love of God."
These words kept spinning in my heart.
And at that time, my heart couldn't stop trembling to have known this love, the unconditional sacrificial love of Jesus in a way that I had never known before.
You probably wanna ask, is that a hearable (can be heard with ears) voice.
There are incidents in the Bible mentioning about God speaking with hearable voice, but when I said God speaks to my heart, i didn't hear any voice, but it's like a message impressed deep within me, that God is telling me this.
It isn't my imagination, and don't worry friends, I am totally sane.
Even the Words of God say in John 10:27 : My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
Airasia says now everyone can fly.
I say, now everyone can feel loved!
for Jesus didn't die only for Christians, Jesus died for all humans, because of His love for each of us. And the most important thing is, He resurrected 3 days after, and He still lives today to give His love and hope to us.
I didn't make the story up, it's real, if you know me good enough i know you'll believe me.
Now everyone can feel loved....
...all due to Jesus!

I have 2 grand uncles staying together in Muar, they are twins.
They are quite old, in their 60s or 70s I think, They are not married, so no children as well.
They live in a small double storey house, there are a few old tables and chairs at the ground floor, I don’t know if you can call those “furniture”. The place is not dirty, but on the whole it just looks so dull and inanimate. And almost every time I see them, they are wearing short pants and singlet, and that really short hair that will spend you no time to tidy up, and only need the minimum hair shampoo i guess.
Well…They make furniture for a factory , they don’t earn a lot, but at the same time they make some investments. My mum and their boss say they are honest and thrifty people.
T o be honest, I have always thought they are those kind of people who are “not modern” and maybe, “outdated”: work, eat and sleep, continuing the routine without any entertainment, or maybe listening to radio, the only possible entertainment I can find in the house. And, uhm… and I don’t really think they go out with friends or socialize as well.
No, I don’t despise them. But I thank God a few years ago they got to know Christ, they started to attend church, they found the purpose and the hope of life. It was really thrilling to me. Just after a few years later (last year actually), one of my grand uncles passed away.
“Where did you get this?” I asked.
“From ‘Chek Gong’(grand -uncle).” She said.
Mum was near and she heard this.
“Your ‘Chek Gong’ said he bought this some time ago when he earned some dividends from investment.” Mum added.
“What? A keyboard?”
That was my first reaction.
He said this:
There is a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus.
~ Blaise Pascal (1623-1662)
It again reminds me that there is also a need in every human’s life to seek God.
Have you ever ponder, the universe wasn’t formed by co-incidence. You, and everything on this earth, was uniquely created with a purpose, with the most amazing architecture?
Have you ever feel empty and alone? Eventhough you have a soulmate(boyfriend/girlfriend), lovely family members, and probably lots of friends.
Have you wondered if heaven and hell exist? Have you ever scared that they really exist...
Honestly, I hate the word “religious”.
Jesus is not my “religion”. And I am not using “religion” to fill the emptiness in my life, to “give myself” hope in life.
Jesus and I are about a relationship. The emptiness in my life is filled, because I have a relationship with my Creator that loves me, just like the relationship you have with your boy/girlfriend, parents, siblings or best friends.
But the difference is, this is a need and relationship that cannot be replaced with any existing relationship in your life, it’s uniquely for God.
And, I don’t use “God” to give myself hope in life, but it was God who gave me hope in my life, for my future or any uncertainties in this journey.
Share the love around, because people need the Lord.
Pascal has always been right about the pressure in physics world.
And I am not ashamed to say he is also never wrong on choosing the God whom Pascal and I believe in. I hope all of you, my dear ones make the same choice one day.
God bless.

It has been many years, I've been looking for one.
She isn't really that attractive the first time I met her. I actually got to know her because of my housemate.
There was one time I needed some help and I approached her.
The first time I held her, it was great. As time goes by, I know she is the one I want.
I love her,
and I would like to introduce her to all my friends
:
Can't wait to know who is she? ![]()
She is Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse v2.0!
She is only RM20 at Lowyat and she has got really good ergonomic design! It fits my hand really well and it's comfortable to hold (of course it might be different for individuals). I have used many mice before (threw many away as well!) and I think I can say this is the best mouse I can find in the low budget range.
That's all, I am so happy to tell you about my new good friend (abbreviated to gf).![]()

On Sunday, October 30, 1938, millions of radio listeners were shocked when radio news alerts announced the arrival of Martians (the "people" from the planet Mars). They panicked when they learned of the Martians' ferocious and seemingly unstoppable attack on Earth. Many ran out of their homes screaming while others packed up their cars and fled.
I am not bluffing. It was the The New York Times headlines. (check here)
Though what the radio listeners heard was a portion of Orson Welles' adaptation of the well-known book, War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells, many of the listeners believed what they heard on the radio was real.
And I want to tell you, the power of media is astonishing. yes, ASTONISHING.
Maybe you would say, that was 70 years ago! Nowadays people are getting smarter.
Then you are wrong.
Unless you can explain to me how a novelist could make so many Christians worldwide giving up their religion using a made-up story, and a movie with that made-up story.
Yes we have Dan Brown and his Da Vinci's Code.
I can give you many more examples, but I'll stop here. What I want to tell you is: people who want to make money have used media to earn big money, people who want to gain fame, people who wants to convince public with their political ideology, people with all kind of purposes have used media to achieve success, but too bad, I think Christians are not in this category.
In fact, to me, gospel has no, or very little impact and success in using media to rival other influences. Of course, sometimes people are simply rejecting gospel contents, but I also believe there are many rejecting because our music, our animation, our comics, our videos, orr movies, or games are not attractive enough to send a message to the public.
This gives me a burden to start a studio to cater this need: to produce evangelistic resources that non-Christians like and think is good.
Because when you like something, that thing can give you influence very easily.
Now I shall explain this idea of mine in details:
There should be 5 departments in this studio:
1. Department of Softwares
This is the department mainlyfor programmers, and perhaps also graphic designers. The main duty of this department is to produce useful and effective educational softwares for students, especially students who are really weak academically. My youngest sister is my inspiration for this idea. She was in a big primary school with lots of students in a class, and she often is not a fast-learner. And the way the teacher teaches obviously doesn't make her feel interested in learning as well, and sometimes I was really surprised how weak she is in academic aspect that she couldn't understand even very simple things, especially in science, math and languages. This department has a task to produce softwares that can really help weak students by very detailed and illustrated instructions, or for students in general, to help them to understand what they are learning, rather than just helping them to score in examinations. For example, you could probably do differentiation and integration really fast and accurate, but you probably have no idea how the idea began, how it was derived and how it can be implemented in your daily lives to solve problems. The softwares to be produced are most probably not good enough for people to score straight As, but they would be really useful to make students understand and acquire the ability to argue and to think, something which is really lacking in exam-based education system. It also helps weak students to build a strong foundation before going into harder topics in school. And in between the tutorials, exercises or educational games, some short messages of gospel would appear, indirectly giving influence to the users.
2. Department of Games
It's called the department of games, and yes we are making games. Programmers are still important here, and besides that, graphics designers are also very important. We'll be creating free games for computer and cell phone. And when the game was advancing to another scene or level, or when the game is loading, short messages of gospel would appear.
3. Department of Music
We'll need musicians, audio engineers and composers for this one. We want to make free gospel music that are not so "gospel". We want to adopt music styles that are more familiar to the public, but with lyrics that speaks gospel.
4. Department of Animation
Animators and graphic designers, script writers and directors, we'll need you. With 2D and 3D animators, we can produce many Jesus-film-like animations to save many souls.
On the other hand, we can also produce non-gospel animations but with hidden evangelistic meaning or just a simple gospel message at the end of animation. Sometimes we do not really need stunning graphics, just look at how successful cartoons like spongebob, south park, Doraemon and Shin-chai are, or short video clips like Happy Tree Friends. However, too bad, most of those mentioned are always giving negative messages to the viewers.
5. Department of Creative Evangelism
We also want to use our creativity or resources to help other churches or organizations. Also, we can help them to design or create new strategy in evangelism. For example, for Campus Crusade of Christ, we could help them to restructure and redesign the 4SL booklet, e.g. there can be some blank pages at the beginning of the 4SL booklet for people to write or paste their own testimony. For Full Gospel Businessman fellowship, we can create "offline evangelistic radio station" CD for them, that they can play these CDs when they are driving a non-believer. What is the difference compared to a christian radio station? Firstly, there are many countries where Christian radio stations are not available. Secondly, christian radio stations are for Christians, while evangelistic radio station are for non-Christians.
It'd be great if the work of evangelism can expand bigger through co-operation like this.
Most important of all, we want to provide all these for FREE! Because we don't want to allow piracy problem to be a hindrance for these products to be widespread. Also, we want to produce them in mainly chinese before translating to other languages, as you know, there are really not many good resources in chinese, and we want to "attack" the market of the country with most population in this world - China!
I thought the motto/slogan for this studio can be "Broadcasting creativity" or maybe "Broadcasting gospel of creativity". Because we do not just want to tell (a few) people, but we want to broadcast them to (a lot of) people. And we want to take a different approach, something which is not typical "gospel" and "Christian" like what you have always seen which people quickly snub without taking a second look, but creative one that suits today's needs better.
Even if I can't start this as a full-time ministry in the future, I'll still try to work on this in my free time. I am now trying to learn all these things...programming, animation production, music production, composing songs and graphics design, and I wish I could produce a good product in each category before I graduate, so I'd be able to find sponsors for this ministry I am dreaming. Even all these things do not work out, I still hope with my little effort I will still be able to influence some people using Internet as a medium, or hopefully inspire others into doing the same things, or partnering with me.
Thank God for the advancement of freewares and open-source softwares, I can actually do all these without spending a dime on those popular big-name-softwares. :)
And you can support me in this by:
1. Prayer!
2. Money (if things ever work out in the future)
3. Your skills or your ideas/inspirations (Don't worry if you were not "born with talents", you don't need them, God gives them :) ask me for info on how you can learn these skills on your own!)
4. Your friends - you can introduce these products to them.
If you are interested to be part of this by supporting in any of the 4 means above, you can give me an email or text message and let me know :)
And it would be great to have comments, suggestions and feedback from you as well.
All glory to God! :)
